Wawel Royal Castle, Kraków

Last October 7, I went out for a walk with two friends, Philip from the US and Beth from Canada, in this castle which is about three blocks from our hotel. Big and beautiful castle with a big church inside.

Wale Cathedral. Pope John Paul II was consecrated as a Bishop here.

The castle has good view of the nearby Vistula River.
